You are entitled to hold records of any vital events related to you. These records are given to you in the form of a certificate. They are valuable forms identification. As an accredited agent, we can help you to obtain these certificates. Depending on what certificate you've requested, it will take anywhere from 2-14 days to get to you.

Marriages that are legally performed in foreign countries are usually valid in Canada but not always. If you're going to live in Alberta after your marriage, check with Service Alberta to determine if you require further documentation for your marriage to be legally recognized here.
